A day-care center for street children<\/h1>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The goals<\/h3>\n

We believe<\/strong> that every child in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) should have time to feel and behave like a child to simply play without worrying about tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Our mission <\/strong>is to welcome every Wednesday and Saturday around a hundred children from a poor district of Kinshasa, and provide them with a safe and caring space where they can play and learn.<\/p>\n

Our main objective <\/strong>is to give these children the opportunity to enjoy themselves through play, but also to learn with workshops set up (IT, reading, dance). We offer a snack at each session and a full meal once a month.<\/p>\n

The latest news<\/h3>\n

The One Love day-care center was launched in 2021, and at the time we welcomed around 50 children from Camp Luka, a very poor district of Kinshasa located an hour's walk from our One Love House. Word has spread, and now over a 120 children turn up on Wednesdays and Saturdays to spend the afternoon with us. The program includes basketball, table soccer and ping pong, as well as information, dance and reading classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
