Manon BESNIER

I’ve known One Love in the high school where I worked. A colleague and friend of mine told me that she was leaving for the Congo to become more involved in the organization. I was attracted by her life path and the aura she gave off. I participated in the One Love humanitarian trip in July 2019. The experience changed my outlook on life. I felt a deep adhesion with the values of the association. Its members not only provide children with a roof over their heads but also surround them with attention and affection. One of the boys welcomed by the organization is my godson and I consider our bond that has been created between him and me as very precious. I like to see him grow, choose a future for himself, gain confidence, with moments of exuberance or sometimes of doubt, but always in the most appropriate framework: that of love and trust.

Fun Fact: hyperactive teacher, I love to make faces and imitate all types of animals.
